American singer Keri Hilson has heaped praise on ‘X Factor’ contestant Cher Lloyd, saying that she would love to write a song for the 16-year-old singer. Cher Lloyd first made waves in the singing competition with a cover of Hilson’s version of ‘Turn My Swag On’, and is currently recording her debut album in the United States.

The video comes eight months after the track was officially released, and features West lying in bed with two dead women, holding the head of a woman and rapping behind images of a woman hanging from a noose.

Apple have today unveiled their answer to Google and Amazon’s cloud storage systems, the (shockingly titled) ‘iCloud’. Apple co-founder Steve Jobs revealed the service at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco this morning (June 7th), where he announced that Apple would be entering the ring with their own dedicated new storage system.

Following news of their fourth album ‘You & I’, which has just charted at Number Four in the UK Albums Chart, New York-based folk-pop duo The Pierces have confirmed details of their next single. ‘It Will Not Be Forgotten’ is due for release on 8th August and is the third track to be taken from ‘You & I’ following recent singles ‘Glorious’ and album opener ‘You’ll Be Mine’. ‘You & I’ was released last week and went straight into the Top 10 at Number Four. Later this week, The Pierces will be beginning their UK tour, which features support from Delta Maid. See below for dates and tickets. They will also be performing at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 26th June.

American solo artist John Grant has announced a number of UK tour dates to coincide with the festival appearances he will be making over the summer months. Last year, the former Czars frontman released his debut solo album ‘Queen of Denmark’, which was recorded with Texan folk-rockers Midlake. On July 11th, just for the sheer hell of it, Enter Shikari release a brand new stand-alone single. This release does not herald the arrival of album #3, nor does it really coincide with any live dates. It was finished, and everyone was so excited by it, that the general consensus was that it was better placed in fans' hands than gathering dust on a disc in the office for the waiting for the 'right' time to release it.

Plan B has refused an offer to collaborate with Jay-Z in order to raise his profile in the US, it has been revealed. The London-born rapper was told by American label bossed to give the rap mogul a guest spot on his upcoming LP in order to raise his stateside profile, however Plan B (real name Ben Drew) is said to have rejected the offer as he felt it would compromise his material.
